| ThermaCool® - The Non-Surgical Facelift |
| |
 |
Thermage (ThermaCool) is a non-invasive alternative to the traditional facelift. If you'd like to turn back the hands of time, but you're not ready for a surgical facelift, ThermaCool® (Thermage) might be just what you're looking for. Dr. William J. Hall, founder of Infini, serving clients in Scottsdale and the entire Phoenix metropolitan area in Arizona, is offering this innovative method, which combines deep penetrating heat and surface cooling, to those who desire a more comfortable, timely option.
ThermaCool (Thermage) is, in essence, a facelift without surgery. The procedure, developed by Thermage®, a California aesthetic device manufacturer, delivers radiofrequency signals to targeted areas of the face to tighten the skin. |

As underlying tissue is heated, it causes the contraction of existing collagen, while triggering the development of new collagen. This in turn reduces wrinkling and sagging. The face, brow and cheeks, as well as the neck, can be successfully lifted for a fresher, more youthful look.
ThermaCool (Thermage) is a more comfortable procedure than traditional facelifts and laser skin resurfacing. While the amount of discomfort experienced varies by client, our patients may choose to address any discomfort they may experience using a topical anesthetic or our optional light general anesthesia program. In addition, a cooling cryogen spray is applied before, during and after the application of heat to lessen any discomfort a client may experience and protect the skin's outer surface from damage.
ThermaCool (Thermage) offers gradual results without a lot of downtime. After topical preparation, the procedure only takes about an hour. You can return to normal activities immediately, with virtually no indication that you've even had work done!

If you are looking for a solution that does not require constant upkeep, you'll enjoy the low maintenance of ThermaCool (Thermage). Some clients have felt an immediate tightening of the skin and begun to see early improvements right after the procedure is completed. And, a single treatment of ThermaCool (Thermage) has been shown to produce results that last as long as 24 months or more.

Think ThermaCool (Thermage) might be right for you? Read our FAQs for more information.
How does ThermaCool (Thermage) work?
A cryogen spray is applied during the treatment to cool the skin and protect it from damage. Based on your individual needs, your physician will use a handheld device that delivers deep-penetrating warming sensations to underlying skin tissue. This tightens the skin and stimulates collagen production for a smoother, more refreshed appearance.
How long does the procedure take?
Treatment time varies with the size of the affected treated area. It can take as little as a few minutes or up to an hour.
Is it safe?
The procedure is extremely safe. Of the more than 70,000 clients treated since the procedure was introduced, only 1% have experienced side effects. These have included swelling, redness, bumps and blisters around the treated area. They typically only last a few days or weeks. A much more uncommon but lasting occurrence is a skin depression. Usually you will only experience a few days of redness that is similar to a sunburn.
What does ThermaCool (Thermage) feel like?
During ThermaCool (Thermage) treatment, you will feel a brief heating sensation below the surface of your skin. At the same time, your outer surface will be cooled to make you more comfortable.
How quickly will I see results and how long will they last?
ThermaCool (Thermage) is most effective over the long-term, though the procedure immediately tightens the skin. After about two to six months, you should see significant improvement in the appearance of your skin. However, some clients have experienced an earlier response. A single treatment lasts about 24 months or more, depending on the condition of your skin and your individual aging process.
How many treatments will I need?
Most clients only require a single treatment that lasts 24 months or more. Your physician will recommend the course of treatment most appropriate for you.
When can I get back to work?
You may resume your normal activities immediately. |
