FotoFacial™, sometimes spelled PhotoFacial, is a revolutionary new treatment, which unlike laser therapy, chemical peels or dermabrasion has no downtime! Following a FotoFacial treatment, most patients can go back to most of their usual activities and can immediately apply make-up.

Fotofacial has become one of the most popular cosmetic treatments in years. It is an intense pulsed light treatment for face, neck, chest, hands, and arms. Fotofacial is an effective treatment for most conditions that involve skin discoloration, but also does much more. The intense heat from the procedure provides stimulation and helps the skin produce its own collagen

A Fotofacial treatment package consists of a series of five treatments. To see if your condition can be treated with Fotofacial Skin Rejuvenation, contact us for a free consultation. Also refer to our Frequently Asked Questions below the Before and After Photos.

Frequently Asked Questions

What conditions can be treated?

- redness and flushing
- irregular pigmentation, age spots, freckling
- reduces pore size
- rosacea
- small facial veins
- roughness and fine wrinkles

How many treatments are needed?

A series of 5 treatments is needed to obtain the best results. Some patients may benefit from more treatments depending on the severity of the condition treated. Treatments are spaced 3-4 weeks apart.

What are treatments like?

Each Fotofacial treatment takes about 15-30 minutes. Most patients tolerate the non-invasive procedure very well. Those with more sensitive skin may use a topical anesthetic, applied 30 minutes before the procedure. Most normal activities can be resumed immediately and make-up can be applied right after a treatment session. At first, the skin may be flushed and appear agitated. Brown spots will actually be slightly darker at first. These initial effects fade in 24 hours, and then you will begin to see the beneficial results! Keep in mind that the more pigment or sun damage in your skin that you have may cause you to have more irritation after the procedure.

What are the expected results of FotoFacial treatments?

Following FotoFacial treatments there is a gradual decrease in overall redness, flushing and acne-like breakouts. Treated skin will become smoother with a reduction in fine wrinkles and pore size as well as a fading of sun spots or uneven pigmentation. In time, the result of FotoFacial treatments is smoother, healthier, younger-appearing skin.

Are FotoFacial treatments safe?

FotoFacial treatments, being completely non-invasive, are very safe. Very rarely, temporary mild bruising or blistering may occur in the treated areas, which will resolve in a few days time.

Am I a candidate for FotoFacial treatments?

If your appearance is marred by facial redness or signs of aging, or if you would like to maintain a youthful, healthy appearance then FotoFacial treatments likely will be of benefit to you. There are certain medications that may interfere with the treatments and these will be discussed during your initial consultation. Contact Infini for a complimentary consultation to see if we can help you with the latest technology and no downtime!
