BOTOX ® Scottsdale – Cosmetic for Wrinkles

BOTOX® cosmetic is simply unparalleled for maintaining youth and avoiding wrinkles. As a National Educator for Allergen Corp. (the makers of Botox®), Dr. Hall teaches physicians from all over the country. Dr. Hall has performed over 13,000 injections over his career and is skilled in many of the newer advanced uses of Botox for: excessive sweating, neck bands and wrinkles, chin creases and dimpling, lip lines, and lower facial shaping. We stress that it is ALWAYS Dr. Hall that performs these injections and never a nurse or assistant. Most of Dr. Hall’s patients have been with him for over 8 years which means that because only one certified M.D. is doing the treatments they are always consistent and the proper potency.

BOTOX® Cosmetic is the solution for many wrinkles, which are actually creases that have been worn into the skin by making the same expression thousands of times. These “expression lines”, often called frown lines, crow’s feet, or forehead lines are due to the contraction of a muscle under the skin in that area. Some have called this unique therapy “a facelift in a bottle”. Or “a liquid facelift”.

How much Botox do I need? What is the cost?

This is very important for prospective patients to understand so they know that they are getting what they pay for and not some improper or diluted dose. At Infini we are a fully accredited medical facility and all injections are done by Dr. Hall himself. We use no pricing gimmicks and are very accurate in our dosages based on each individual patient’s needs and muscle strength. Unfortunately not all clinics and med spas uphold such precision or ethics in their Botox dosages and pricing. It is very simple and the proof is in the results.

  • Frown lines: 20-30 units
  • Forehead lines: 15-30 units
  • Crow’s feet: 25-30 units
  • Neck bands: 20-40 units
  • Excessive sweating of armpits, palms, soles: 100 units

If you have received the “proper” dose of Botox you should achieve freezing of the muscle from 3-4 mos. If you are not getting these spectacular results then it is very possible that you are being undertreated or injected in the wrong muscle planes.

  • What is Botox?
    • Botox is a purified protein that works by blocking the chemical signal from the nerve that causes the muscle to contract. The result is minimized movement of specific muscles in the neck and face, effectively reducing the folding of the skin and the formation of wrinkles. Botox in addition to fillers (hyaluronic acid or collagen stimulating agents), can benefit individuals with even deeper creases, such as those found around the mouth and/or the brow area.
Botox is injected in very small amounts just under the surface of the skin in the desired treatment area. The Botox injection treatment prevents the development of wrinkles by paralyzing facial muscles. In addition to the cosmetic application, Botox injection can be used to reduce muscles spasms and dystonias by paralyzing the associated muscles.
  • What should be expected?
    • After the Botox injection, patients are likely to experience swelling and/or redness around the injection sight. Swelling is likely to subside within 30 minutes of treatment. Makeup can be applied immediately following the treatment. Some patients have experienced headache within 24 hours of their treatment.
  • How can I prepare for my treatment?
    • Patients taking blood thinners, ibuprofen, and/or Vitamin E have an increased likelihood of experiencing bruising. To prevent bruising, these medications should be discontinued 2 weeks prior to treatment.
  • Who cannot have Botox treatment?
    • Patients who are pregnant, have open lesions at planned injection sites, and/or have certain neurological disorders.
  • What is the expected recovery time?
    • After treatment, patients can go about their normal daily activities. Exercising should be avoided the day of the procedure.
  • How long do the results from the Botox treatment last?
    • Visible results can last between 3 to 6 months. With continued treatment every 3-4 months, results are known to last longer.
  • Are there any side effects?
    • Within a few days of treatment, the patient may experience decreased movement in the muscles surrounding the injection site. Patients may also experience red bumps over the injection site. This is caused by the fluid placed under the skin, however swelling is likely to disappear within 30 minutes of treatment.
  • Are Botox treatments painful?
    • Most patients experience little to no discomfort during treatment.
